This year the hmv's 'Next Big Thing' gigs ran from 4th Feb - 13th Feb. The line-up was great and there were some fantastic up-and-coming bands playing, who I'm sure we'll be hearing plenty of in the future, and some I'll really look forward to photographing again.
The gigs were held in venues all over London (Barfly, Borderline, Jazz Cafe, the Garage, Heaven) ...

My favs were Vintage Trouble (energetic & load's sa fun!), Rival Sons, Funeral Party, Alice Gold, Anna Calvi and R O M A N C E - all very rock 'n' roll - loved them!
